Meet the All-New Deadwood! alt

Today the new black sheep of the Badlands rolls into Harley's 2026 motorcycle line-up! Meet the all-new Harley-Davidson® Deadwood™ motorcycle! This model taps into the raw, stripped-down look popular with riders following World War II. Riding together to rallies was a way to recapture the unity they embraced in the military, and one of the most popular was the Black Hills Motor Classic centered in Sturgis, S.D. In 1947, more than 400 riders converged on Sturgis to tour the spectacular winding roads of the Black Hills region and visit the communities of Spearfish, Lead, and Deadwood.

The New Black Sheep of the Black Hills

The 2026 Deadwood™ channels the same wandering spirit that’s pulled riders toward Sturgis and the Black Hills for generations, wrapped in one of the darkest silhouettes Harley-Davidson® has ever built. Denim Black paint, black tubeless laced wheels, a smoked chopped windshield, blacked-out powertrain components, solo seat, and a slammed profile built around a shorter rear monoshock give it plenty of attitude, while the five-gallon tank, Milwaukee-Eight™ 117 Classic motor, and modern Softail™ chassis keep one foot in Harley-Davidson® history and the other somewhere out in the Badlands.

Black Denim Paint + Orange Tank Graphics

Denim Black paint covers the tank and fenders while orange wetslide graphics sharpen the Deadwood™’s dark silhouette with enough contrast to make things really pop. Wrapped around a classic five-gallon teardrop tank, the design pulls timeless Harley-Davidson® cruiser attitude into a new era.

Blacked-Out Styling + Clean Fender Design

From the front end and controls to the powertrain, exhaust, and tank console, the Deadwood™ is blacked-out nearly everywhere you look. Clean, unornamented fenders, and minimal trim help keep the silhouette lean and uncluttered.

Smoked Chopped Windshield

A smoked chopped windshield gives the Deadwood™ a darker, more alluring profile while reinforcing the blacked-out vibe that defines the motorcycle from start to finish.

Solo Seat + Slammed Profile

A solo tuck-and-roll seat and lowered stance built around a shortened rear monoshock give the Deadwood™ a low, hunkered-down silhouette that looks ready to disappear into the Black Hills while keeping riders planted in the saddle.

Black Tubeless Laced Wheels

Black tubeless laced wheels with machined highlights give the Deadwood™ a darker take on classic Harley-Davidson® cruiser style, pairing old-school attitude with modern capability underneath. They complete the Deadwood™’s dark silhouette without losing the classic attitude that makes this motorcycle so perfect.

PERFORMANCE

Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic + Classic Round Intake

The Milwaukee-Eight™ 117 Classic motor is tuned to deliver broad torque with smooth street performance that feels right at home rolling through small towns or stretching a ride long past your original route. A classic round intake preserves the timeless Harley-Davidson® cruiser character generations of riders have fallen in love with.

Shortened Rear Monoshock

With one of the lowest seat heights in the entire Harley-Davidson® lineup, a shortened rear monoshock gives the Deadwood™ its low, slammed stance without giving up modern ride quality beneath its classic bobber-inspired silhouette. Hydraulic preload adjustment makes it easy to adapt suspension feel for changing loads and riding conditions.

2-Into-1 Exhaust

Tuned around the Milwaukee-Eight™ 117 Classic motor, the 2-into-1 exhaust delivers strong low-end response and the kind of deep bark that sounds even better bouncing off canyon walls.

INNOVATION

Five-Inch Gauge + Ride Modes + Rider Safety Enhancements

The tank-mounted five-inch gauge blends analog attitude with modern ride information while keeping things clean and simple. Road, Sport, and Rain modes adjust throttle response and traction intervention for changing roads and weather, while Cornering ABS, traction control, drag-torque slip control, tire pressure monitoring, and cruise control help keep the Deadwood™ feeling smooth and confident no matter where you take it.

USB-C Charging

A USB-C charging port mounted beneath the fuel tank keeps devices powered without disrupting the clean, stripped-back look of the motorcycle.

Adjustable Brake Lever

The adjustable front brake lever lets riders fine-tune reach and feel to better match hand size and riding preference. Small changes in reach can make a big difference over a full day of riding.

“The thing that surprised me most is how comfortable it feels once you’re moving. You see all the blacked-out stuff and the slammed stance and expect it to feel harsh, but it doesn’t. It just wants to keep rolling. I feel like an old cowboy on this thing.”

Reserve your 2026 Deadwood™ before they're all gone!

RIDER SAFETY ENHANCEMENTS

Harley-Davidson’s Rider Safety Enhancements is all about giving you that extra peace of mind when things get a little unpredictable. It’s a set of smart tech that steps in during tricky situations, helping the Motorcycle handle traction while you’re accelerating, braking, or slowing down. With the Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, the Motorcycle even adjusts for cornering, keeping things smooth and steady without you having to think twice.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)

ABS is designed to prevent the wheels from locking under braking and helps the rider maintain control when braking in a straight-line, urgent situation.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS)

The TCS is designed to keep the rear wheel from “spinning out” when the motorcycle is accelerating in a straight line and enhances rider confidence.

DRAG-TORQUE SLIP CONTROL SYSTEM (DSCS)

DSCS is designed to reduce excessive rear-wheel slip and help prevent rear-wheel lock under powertrain-induced deceleration, which typically occurs when the rider makes an abrupt downshift gear change or quickly reduces the throttle while on wet or slippery road surfaces.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

TPMS alerts the rider through the information display to low or high tire air pressure. Maintaining proper tire air pressure is important both for vehicle performance and tire life.

CORNERING ENHANCED ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (C-ABS)

C-ABS is a variant of ABS that takes into consideration the lean angle of a two-wheel motorcycle, or the lateral acceleration of a Trike model. The brake pressure required to limit wheel slip when cornering is typically or lower than the pressure required under straight line operation.

CORNERING ENHANCED TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (C-TCS)

C-TCS is designed to prevent the rear wheel from excessive spinning under acceleration when going straight or cornering.

CORNERING DRAG-TORQUE SLIP CONTROL SYSTEM (C-DSCS)

On bikes equipped with C-DSCS, the system helps keep the rear wheel from slipping or locking up when you quickly downshift or let off the throttle, especially on wet or slippery roads. When turning, it can adjust based on how much a two-wheel bike is leaning or the side-to-side motion on a Trike.
